Tis chill............

Ok in respects to the authors, some things were kind of pointless and out of place. well done making to the front page though. Oh, and that dude 2 below me is wrong, the song is "salty dog" from flogging molly's album "Swagger", i own it lol.

Bertn responds:

Thanks for the review. (:

Conceptual animation....................

That's very good. I grade pretty damn hard so don't take the rating to heart, but I thought you did very well for the most par. The art is nice and it has full detailing to give it it's soul. Thing that got me was that you didn't make any sort of animation with him at the end. He was fully drawn so joint movement should last you little time. Nonetheless, I thought it was a very well drawn picture, but it could have been given more life in the animation field. Looking forward to the first flash.

liable-to-explode responds:

Thanks!

Pick me up then throw me down.................

The beginning of this made me smile and want to dance to it. The music was bumping and the animations went well along, but then disaster struck. May be it was just for me, but at the end it just seemed to loop the dance floor dancing, and that's what killed me. The audio was awesome and the visuals were pretty good. The content now, was like cubic zirconium. When you first see it, you are amazed and bewildered by the greatness, but when you figure out that those looks don't last beyond the first innocent looks, you grow saddened after every minute. I hope to see more raves from you, hopefully with even more seizure inducing moments, but with more movement later in the movie other than looped dancing.

AxeShades responds:

Jeez you don't need to be so dramatic it's just a flash movie lol. But okay, i see what you mean. I'm all done with loops now.

A good trip.............

That was something everyone of simple peasures should enjoy. I really loved the thought of a goat going on a trip, it is a concept that I haven't seen yet. It had a very funny premise as he goes into random trances of different areas and the song helped the feel of each of them. Even better is the fact that you show the goat coming back to reality to show what truly is going on. The laugh though (simpsons) was a bit misplaced in my opinion. Something I also wish i saw is that the goat would hit a stae where he is doing some more random things (i.e. he is eating cotton candy, but really it is a pillow or such) In the end this was something I liked and laughed at. I hope to see your next efforts beyond this one.

Graeme responds:

Thanks for the review. Glad it could give you a smile.
The flashing back and forth between "drug world" and reality was insipred by Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny.
The Simpsons laugh maybe could have been used better, or switch all together. It was a choice I made, and it makes me smile a bit.

I would have had more switching between reality and such, but the song is only so long.
And even then I had to edit the song to make it loop a little bit.

huh............

I see to many of these "Holy crap it is gonna be a long series" things and I have grown to not like them, buteven in an unbiased opinion upon this, it really only got me smirking with the random pictures rotating wherever the hell they felt like.

"What the hell?" in a good way...........

Wow, I have something short to say about this. The most random song and animation i have seen that made me laugh to a point of not even caring how it looks. I give you 10 points for the caught hail mary.

TR-COOLGUY responds:

k thats nice.

If this is ever read.......

not quite sure if anyone will even read this review, but I do have to say that I was not much of a trooper in watching this. It was short, and not the good short, the short that I wish was shorter short. You seemed to use shapes with obtrusley thick lining instead of hand drawn medium to thin lining. Also, the sound and premise were weak. Hopefully future flashes we can see your real talent, not just some 3rd grade shape building skills. Hope you improve and will be happy to check out your new one.

Daioh responds:

That's my style, simple drawings, I'm not great at art.
Unless you'd rather see stickmen?

It was........

I thought this was alot better than that last movie that was made as "Day #13" which was highly offensive (only because it was put out as all audiences). It could have been better with some shopped up DDr arrows that actually moved to the beat. Also, switch up the character motion, it would be cool to have a strange loop of odd movements that will entertain and get laughs rather than borer the audience after 30-40 seconds. As for sound, it seemed to drone on rather than completely thrill or keep me focused.

mamaluigi responds:

I know... the other day #13 wasnt made by me, but rather by some missguided fan of mine.

But yeah... making the arrows in sync with the flash takes too much work... so meh.

Well.........

Why is it looked converted. I put no accusation upon you, but it is odd that you made it and it is not a SWF format. Other than that tiny thing, it was a fair addition to the stick movies that swarm the internet.

Wacraw responds:

It looks converted cause it is converted. This is the other movie I made entirely in Movie Maker. Thats the reason why its so pixelated. And intend for this one to be my last! I am committed to finding something better to make my movies cause, lets face it, without a proper flash program making flash movies sucks. Thanks for the comment! : )

Good.......

The concept was very smart, I haven't seen those in a while, so it is good to see someone make a refresher on the concept. the comedy had some good moments and some weak ones, but my major draws are the drawing and voice acting. There was a little stiff movement sometimes and all of the voice acting felt like it was missing heart, especially when in danger, there was more of depressed scare than a suprised and frightened one. All in all, Okay

Triple-Elemental responds:

Thanks, some voice acting I agree was lacking, we will try to improve on that in the next one.

If i killed squirrels for a living, i think i'd die a happy man.
